Xbox 360's Main Strength: Xbox Live and all those fanboys out there.

PC's Strength: Be able to upgrade your system to fit the new technology, Free Online Game Play (some games not all.. like most of the MMORPG)

PS2's Strength: Large library of games that is actually fun to play with not all about the look of the games.

Overall, Xbox360 is like a dumb blond, it's pretty to look at but damn its no fun or entertaining!

I like how horrible the 360 is doing in...Asia...couldn't remember if it was China or Japan...so Asia covers both.

They should have kept all those units over here where they would sell, whereas they didn't learn from when the XBox came out over there and nobody liked it.

heheh.. Microsoft is like a brainless zombie that is trying to break through a unbreakable glass shield that is Japan. No one there want to play xbox360. In fact, there is no games on xbox360 that is cool to play with. Also in Japan's market is dominated by PS2 games, Gamecube and Nintendo DS. Microsoft need to learn to stay at the back of the line instead of cutting in and trying to bully their way throughout the Asian Market.

Oh the CrapBox doesn't sell at ALL in Japan. They don't like it (Gee I wonder why). If I remember right, top sellar was the PS2, probably because it's still seen as a more adult console, and let me tell you some of these Japanese PS2 titles are REALLY adult.

The GameCube barley sells here Compared to Xbox and PS2

Its because they only care about Mario and the Game Cube... Microsoft is just going to release there crapy games along with a couple good games at first. Later on they will be storming with great games. Just wait and see.

I’m hearing a lot about how good the graphics are and it’s not a HUGE leap according from what people are saying. It’s nothing like from when we went from PS1 to PS2. But we have found so many ways to advance in technology in the last few years that we can only move at a certain pace.

I wouldn't get too excited ... as much of a "leap" 360 is above other consoles it still doesn't compare to the best PC gaming in terms of graphics, resolution etc.

With all the XBox 360 hype it's easy to think it's some great technological breakthrough ... Unless there's something I'm missing the PC is still better in every single way. The only advantage of console games is that they're better for when you have guests over informally or if you need to babysit a couple of kids and want to keep them occupied.

Xbox has better shooters? Halo, am I missing another? Not including cross platorm games. Controls? Im sorry but the PS2 has that category won as well, especially for fighting games, it doesnt get any better. Capabilities? [sarcasm] Until the Xbox can give me sexual gratification, its capabilities are lacking compared to a PC [/sarcasm]. The xbox has live, and thats about it. Even then the only game that really took live by the balls was halo 2. The other games had crappy interface and were just frustrating at times.

LOL PS2 shoters blow. I myself do not like the Halo series, i think the storymode of it sux because of it being REALLY repative but you cant deny that the multi player is very good. what shooters does the PS2 have that gives it the win in this catagory? Can they even compare to games such as Doom 3 and Unreal Championship 2?

If you are reffering to my post I did not say PS2 won in the category of shooters. That part reffered to the controller. I preffer FPS on the PC, although some console FPS are tollerable if yet fun.

I am real happy as a parent of two older kids that they are just fine with the PS2. They have their games that they like on it....and they would rather use the Computer for anything else....saves me and Mrs Dood headaches and cash. I put my second computer up in my kids room instead of giving it to Mrs Dood (which is what I usually do). This way, my second computer (a 2.8Ghz 800FSB HT with 1.5Gb Ram and a 9800pro vid card) is just fine at running newer games of today...now mine is a little bit sweeter...but I am the DAD...I do get something for all my hard work.

My daughter can play her Sims2...Battlefield2....with pretty much no problems. Of course they like to use my new box from time to time because I have the sweetest monitor....but that is only when I am not using it. My son lives in Chicago and goes to school there...his older toshiba laptop is still plenty fast enough for most games....a little weak on the graphics(it was great when I bought it tho). It only has a dedicated 32Mb GeForce to go onboard for it....better then those damn shared memory video set-ups...I made sure he has some future-proofing on his little laptop. When he goes to Grad School in about 18 months....I will get him something nicer.

Call of Duty ftw! And with CoD2 on Live, It'll be like playing Call of Duty 1 Multiplayer on my laptop, except better. I'm gone.
